Masjid Hub is a mobile app in development by ABN Labs. It is being designed to help you find the nearest mosque or masjid, see its Iqamah time and know exactly when to set off.

The gap
Knowing the prayer time is easy. Knowing which nearby masjid to attend, when its Iqamah starts, how long it takes to get there and when to set off is not.
Today that means juggling timetables, maps and guesswork, and too often arriving just as the congregation finishes.

How it’s being designed to work
Know the Iqamah, not just the prayer time
Prayer begins at one time; the congregation gathers at another. Masjid Hub is being designed to show both, masjid by masjid.
See the journey before you set off
Distance, walking or driving time and directions, so the decision about where to pray is an informed one.
Leave Now, at the right moment
A timely notification when it’s time to set off, so you arrive before the Iqamah, not after it.
Privacy, before launch
Location-aware products carry a real responsibility. We’ll publish a clear, specific privacy policy for Masjid Hub before it launches, once the final architecture is confirmed.

- What is the difference between prayer time and Iqamah time?
- Prayer time is when the window for a prayer begins. Iqamah is the time a particular masjid’s congregation actually stands for prayer, and it differs from one masjid to the next. Masjid Hub is being designed to show both.
